Should You Commit to Investment Real Estate to Boost Your Financial Portfolio?

To Commit or Not to Commit This is The Investment Real Estate Question?

Committing to investment real estate is a way to boost your financial portfolio. However, it is not for everyone. Should you use investment real estate to boost your financial portfolio?

For instance, have you noticed everyone is looking for an investment edge, and the recent pandemic has bolstered many individuals to open new accounts in the stock market?

According to Maggie Fitzgerald, https://www.cnbc.com/maggie-fitzgerald/

“Young investors pile into stocks, seeing ‘generational-buying moment’ instead of risk.”

However, the hospitality, restaurant travel, and entertainment jobs continue to be in teetered tottered mode; until we get enough vaccines in arms.  There will be the locking and unlocking of these industries. Therefore, not everyone is benefitting from the stock market.  Not even the Redditt Crowd is picking all the right stocks.

Reddit Crowd and GameStop

Jumping into the stock market has never been easier. Therefore setting up an account to self-manage your stock market portfolio can seem simple.

Even if you are not a big fan of the stock market, the Reddit Crowd stories and their ability to change the investment world’s dynamic have touched many folks.  We heard of hedge funds taking a huge financial hit.  Above all, the Reddit crowd enjoyed hurting the big boys in the stock market, resurrecting a company like GameStop with an infusion of cash.

GameStop is hiring industry-heavy hitters to recreate who they are.  What GameStop will be in the future is anyone’s guess.

GameStop Corp NYSE: GME  Scorecard – Up, Down, Sideways

Remember one thing, stock price on January 7, 2021 (this year), $18.08, January 27, 2021, $347.51, Feburary 23, 2021 $44.97, April 1, 2021 $191.45.

After being a Dividend Paying Darling from 2012 to 2019, GameStop stopped paying a dividend. Therefore,  everyone buying GameStop is now at the mercy of GameStop’s stock price.  Gone is the dividend. Therefore, the hope to make a gain on purchasing GameStop stock is to buy at a price lower than what you will eventually sell it for. We would all be billionaires if we got that strategy right.

No Fear of Investing

If you are a Gen Z or Millenial, many of you have proven you are not afraid to invest. For instance, many of you invest with a socially conscious mind, and I am not saying stop this practice.

We All Need a Roof Over Our Heads, Create Income from This Investment

If you are a Gen Z or a Millenial, think about a roof over your head with the same level of the socially conscious mind?  In addition, can you please add investment real estate to your financial portfolio with the same level of zeal as your stock purchases?

How to Get You Started? Six Steps to Investment Real Estate Success

  1. Personal Evaluation – Can you start an investment real estate business with a socially conscious commitment to society?
  2. Can you create an investment real estate business plan? For instance, what to do? How do you do it? Who will you serve?
  3. Can you conduct a SWOT analysis to identify your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to adding investment real estate to your financial portfolio?
  4. Assess how much capital you have available to invest in your first investment real estate property. Can this capital be recognized as a hand-up for society?
  5. Discuss your plans with family and friends to ensure they are behind you.  If they are the right fit, they may want to invest in your plan.
  6. Determine if you want the investment real estate business to be part of your financial portfolio investment.
