WIIFM, What’s In It For Me, is like a radio call signal. For instance, are you listening to your favorite podcast or reading your favorite blog post to add value to your life and turn what you have heard or read into your own opportunities?

Most people don’t search for a website; for instance, they search for an area of interest or a word, and the search engines do the rest.

Once people find you, do they have to be engaged? Yes, or they are moving on.

Moreover, my editor mentioned having a social media presence in today’s digital world helps you develop your writing skills and holds your feet to the fire to make improvements to your writing technique.

For example, writing blog posts and magazine articles lead one to realize a book is possible.

“Everyone has at least one book in them, and they want to get it out.”

Therefore, I wanted to share my knowledge on writing a book.

Developing Attributes to Bringing Your Book to Life

Developing a resource-rich website and writing a book are ways to share the experiences, processes, methods, and procedures I have learned over the last twenty-plus years of investment real estate investing.

Many authors create an author website after they write their book.  I had a business website and didn’t even think about creating an author’s website. However,However, I belong to a diverse group of writers, and they convinced me to register an author domain. My name is fairly common, but believe it or not, I was able to register wrickharris.com; pretty cool.

If you don’t have a business website or website, register your author’s name in a domain and create a website even if you start with a blog only. Then, start capturing your words and send them out to the world.

Part of the Mission Accomplished; Book Written

If you look at the original date I published this blog post; it was June 14, 2018.  Today is three years later, and it gives me great pleasure to announce my book is now available through Amazon Preorder.  You can go to Amazon.com and either type in my name W. Rick Harris or start typing in the title of my book, 31 Days to Purchasing and Renting Your First Investment Real Estate Property, in the search bar.

 

Many folks have helped me along the way. Similarly, it is my pleasure to give back.

All of us have an area of expertise, and sharing our knowledge with the world has never been easier.

Don’t Give Up – Push-On

Our area of expertise may have nothing to do with our education or job for many of us. But, for instance, you may have a hobby, a personal interest, or a passion, and you’re very good at this area of your life; you want to share.

It took over three years to complete my book, and I could not be any more excited.  You can do the same thing, above all, write your own book.  The best time to start, now.

Please give me a few more minutes and read my take on prosperity.  I am not saying my interest is for you; however, sharing a financial alternative to your life you can control is a pretty remarkable feeling.

Writing a blog helps me in my journey to writing an investment real estate book.

People write hundreds and perhaps thousands of blogs in their passion sharing.  However, they never return to the blogs they wrote and update them.

As an author of this blog, I take personal responsibility to keep my blog posts as current as possible.  The blogging industry talks about having your content being “Evergreen.”  Evergreen is content people find long after it has been posted or written and is as relevant today as yesterday. Having more than a fleeting interest regarding investment real estate as a part of your financial foundation is one thing. Besides, you may also have a strong interest in building a small business and entrepreneurship. These three areas are where my passion lies.
